More evidence of corruption comes from the San Diego FBI Office. Critical memos drafted by a CIA agent using FBI files were never forwarded to FBI Headquarters. The Memo discusses financial connections between the September 11th hijackers, the Saudi Government and the Saudi Royal Family. “Despite the clear implications of the CIA memorandum, the FBI… did not forward it to FBI headquarters.” This is in-line with our interview with FBI whistleblower Coleen Rowley.
“Several subjects of FBI investigations prior to September 11 had close connections to the mosque and are believed to have laundered money through this mosque to non-profit organizations overseas affiliated with Usama Bin Laden,” according to the documents released today.
The documents allege connections between 9/11 conspirators and Saudi intelligence agents as well.
“Another Saudi national with close ties to the Saudi Royal Family is the subject of FBI counterterrorism investigations and reportedly was checking security at the United States’ southwest border in 1999 and discussing the possibility of infiltrating individuals into the United States.
“FBI agents in Phoenix stated that a “dry run” testing airline security was performed by a man who attended a party at the Saudi Embassy and that his tickets to the party were paid for by the Saudi Embassy. That individual was later found to have ties to terrorism.
